make everyday a snowday!

Well, we're making history here in the city! The biggest snow storm in history is currently underway. We are in what Brian Van der Graff from ABC 7 News calls the "Monster Storm". Starting yesterday around 11am the snow began and it didn't stop until just recently. Overall, campus' snow accumulation is just grazing 30" and the mounds of plowed snow are taller than me!

A lot of the snowfall happened over night. By the end of the day yesterday we had about 9". When I woke up this morning...boy was I in for a surprise! The stairs all around campus are completely covered. Hand rails are nearly buried under the snow, and you can't tell what's a sidewalk and what's not! I have a video below so that you can see a little of what it was like. There's footage of use making snowballs and parts of a snowman...even sliding on the icy sidewalks! There is also some footage of the shrine and other areas on campus and Michigan Avenue!

Here it is...uncut and a little raw, but hopefully you'll find watching it as fun as it was to make!
